Unity Engineer

We are looking for a talented Unity Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development and enhancement of games for our Casual Games marketplace. As a Unity Engineer, you’ll be responsible for creating and maintaining engaging gameplay experiences for mobile and web platforms. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement game mechanics, systems, and features using Unity and C#.
  • Collaborate with the team to design, prototype, and build games for the platform.
  • Ensure that games run smoothly across multiple platforms (iOS, Android, Web).
  • Optimize game performance for mobile devices and improve load times, graphics, and frame rates.
  • Work closely with designers and other engineers to integrate game features, such as video streaming and multiplayer elements.
  • Participate in code reviews, maintain best practices, and ensure clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
  • Assist in testing and debugging issues and collaborate with QA to deliver high-quality game experiences.
  • Continuously improve and update games, implementing new features and ensuring regular maintenance.

Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of experience in Unity game development.
  • Proficiency in C# and strong knowledge of Unity’s tools and workflows.
  • Experience with game development for mobile (iOS/Android) and web platforms.
  • Solid understanding of game mechanics, physics, and animation in Unity.
  • Familiarity with integrating third-party services (e.g., Firebase, multiplayer SDKs).
  • Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git) and basic Agile practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Good understanding of mobile game performance optimization and the challenges involved.
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
